I grew up in a beautiful, old house that was rich with detail. I was never able to afford, and will never be able to afford a house like that. My home was built with bottom of the line materials throughout. I really missed the feel of that lovely home of my childhood.

Four years ago I stopped into your store on a lark; I was drawn in by your sign, “we only look expensive.” Five projects later I can say that your slogan is an understatement. Your prices beat all of the local home improvement centers, but more importantly, your workmanship is leaps and bounds above theirs. Your attention to detail and your insistence on perfection is unparalleled. That is what I like about family business that cares about its name.

My most recent project – an artisan carpet for my entrance stairway - is amazing. The steps are so soft and luxurious – I feel like I’m in a mansion. Thank you for paying special attention to the stairway moulding and caulking the separation that would have been very conspicuous otherwise. As always your attention to the tiniest details makes all the difference. You care about how a project looks and make sure it is done correctly so it will last forever.

The entrance to my home is now fantastic. The new carpet on the stairway coupled with the first job you did for me – ripping out the old threadbare rug form the living room and hallway and replacing it with a beautiful leather-toned oak plank floor – makes my home look brand new. The upgrades make it a top of the line home.

The lovely carpet that you installed in my daughter’s bedroom is rich, thick, plush and warm. The moulding is varnished exactly like she wanted it.

The wide-planked hardwood floor in my bedroom is also gorgeous. Your attention to the placement of the individual boards based on their grain markings and shadings created a visual appeal and beauty far beyond my expectations. The satin you chose for the moulding matches the tones in the floor absolutely perfect. I can’t believe how beautiful my bedroom looks now!

The subway tile with decorative edge on my bathroom walls is also remarkable. I get many compliments on the tile job.

You have absolutely transformed my home from an ugly duckling into a beautiful swan. You brought it form the bottom of the line to the top of the line with attention to all the details that give it a rich look that makes me feel as if I’m living again my childhood home. Thank you! You are the BEST!
